University Classrooms

Academic Scheduling manages reservation requests for University classrooms at Rutgers–Newark.

Faculty, staff, and recognized Rutgers–Newark student organizations may submit classroom reservation requests through the RU-N Space Reservation System.

Note: Classrooms are primarily scheduled for academic use. Non-academic reservations are not guaranteed. If approved, you will receive a confirmation email with the assigned room, date, and time.

Before You Reserve a Classroom

Please review these important guidelines:

  • Food and beverages are not permitted in University classrooms.

  • Events must be appropriate for an academic classroom setting.

  • Attendance may not exceed posted room capacity.

  • Additional chairs or tables may not be added.

  • Furniture and equipment may not be removed from the room or borrowed from other classrooms.
