More than computer labs — our TRCs provide modern facilities with everything students need to learn, create, and get work done. Find computers, printers, scanners, and specialized equipment across the Newark campus.

Fall Hours: All Technology Resource Centers will be closed Monday, September 7, Thursday, November 26, and Friday, November 27.

Staffed Locations

These locations are staffed by RU-N IT Consultants who can assist with technology questions, printing, equipment issues, and more. Walk in during open hours — no appointment needed.

Dana Library

1st Floor. Staffed.

Hill Hall Lounge Print Station

Wireless printing, scan to email, and copying. Accessible whenever Hill Hall is open.

Center for Law and Justice

Residence Hall Labs

24/7 Access for Residents

Technology Resource Centers in residence halls are available around the clock for residents. Each includes collaborative workstations, Windows and Mac computers, multi-function printers, and BYOD workspace.

Device lending

Laptop Kiosks

Our automated laptop kiosks let any Rutgers–Newark student, faculty, or staff member borrow a laptop using their Rutgers ID card. Each kiosk holds 12 Dell laptops loaded with standard campus software.

  • Laptops may be checked out for a maximum of 6 hours per session.
  • The laptop must remain within the building where it was checked out.
  • Save your work to an external location — files are deleted when the laptop is returned or rebooted.
  • Failure to return within 6 hours or returning a damaged laptop will result in a financial hold on your account.
