Cell Phone / Pager Process

Step 1
Fill out the proper request form using the links below and send it as an email request to IST Mobile at mobile@oit.rutgers.edu
- Requests: Verizon/AT&T (consulting, plans, international, and accessories)
- Please ensure that you include your department head and budget officer when requesting plan changes.
Step 2 - Orders
IST Mobile receives your request. Staff will provide you with the appropriate form needed.
Step 2 - Plan Changes
IST Mobile receives your request. Staff will reach out to the carrier to process the requested changes.
Step 3 - Orders
If requesting a phone, pager, or accessories - complete the required form/process instructed by staff. Then, provide chart of Accounts/GL String or Project String.
- University Hospital: Provide banner index number before returning completed forms.
Step 3 - Plan Changes
IST Mobile awaits confirmation from carrier. A staff member will then send you a confirmation and provide you with a Heat Ticket number for you reference.
Step 4 - Orders
IST Mobile will process your order with the carrier. Your order will then be sent out for delivery. If you are requesting a new device/pager or accessories, the following will be taken:
- RBHS: All cell phone/accessories orders will go to the Technology Partner of your school. Pagers can be picked up at IST Mobile (Newark) or sent directly to the requested individual.
- RU legacy: All cell phone/accessories orders will go to the person requested.
- UHL: All cell phones orders will go to Genio Cinelli. Pagers can be picked up at IST Mobile.
