Connecting to the Wireless Network

RUWireless is available to all current faculty, staff, and students with active NetIDs. How to Connect to RUWireless

Eduroam

Eduroam (https://ruwireless.rutgers.edu/eduroam) is a free and secure roaming access service developed for worldwide use in the research and education community. Many larger universities are equipped with this service.

Guest Wireless-RGAMS

Users who are going to be working or attending a program at Rutgers and will only need wireless access for a few days can be granted wireless access for up to 7 days. This access can be granted by any full time faculty or staff member. The guests using RGAMS are not the same as guests applying for a NetID. The faculty or staff member should go to https://services.td.rutgers.edu/ruwireless/RGAMS/ and sign in.

Installing and Using RUWireless_Secure

RUWireless_Secure (Installing RUWireless_Secure) allows for users to download software on their machines and authenticate with the network. The Secure settings will be saved on the device, allowing for an automatic connection to the network that does not require signing in each time the network is in use. RUWireless_Secure also allows for wireless printing.
